Our facility is available on a Dry-Hire, Blank Canvas basis. You will need to consider rental of furniture and there are several local rental businesses we can recommend. You may also want to employ a caterer, which you may choose yourself or we will be happy to recommend
Guests may throw fresh or dried petal confetti only.
Only guide dogs are allowed at The Barn at Glanmire except in special circumstances which must be agreed in advance
Reservation deposits and payment for venue hire are non-refundable and we strongly recommend you take out wedding insurance.
You are welcome to bring your own alcohol and soft drinks for your reception and meal and we do not charge corkage.
You will have exclusive use of The Barn at Glanmire from 9.00am to midnight on the day of your event.
There is a separate lounge room available – ideal as a dressing room for the bride which can be rented as part of the package.
There is no guest accommodation on site. However, there may be an opportunity for glamping by prior arrangement and we have a list of local places to stay.
The Barn at Glanmire is not currently licensed for civil ceremonies however we are planning to apply for a license.
Unfortunately, fireworks and sky lanterns (which can be a fire hazard) are not allowed.
We have a high-quality Bose sound system however you may have live music at your event. Please discuss your options with us.
There is formal seating capacity for up to 60 guests in The Barn and the total number of guests we can accommodate informally is 100.
We do not allow bouncy castles etc, although we have a large open field ideal for garden games such as boules, badminton, football, croquet etc.
Cars may be left overnight but must be collected by noon the following day.
